I have a 223,243,270,350 legend all with 5/8-24 thread, can i buy a supressir that covers all these? I know absolutely nothing about them, thanks

The .350 is going to throw a wrench in things. Otherwise you could buy a .30 cal can and shoot the other 3.
A Silencerco Omega 36M would cover it, but I would prefer a couple of different cans. You will need various HUB mounts to make it work on that wide of a variety of calibers.

The omega 36m comes with a Charlie asr mount so all he would need is a charlie asr direct thread mount 5/8-24

The beauty of the omega 36m is that the front 1/3 can be removed to make it shorter if needed. I have an omega 46m that I use on my 40 and 45 sml's along with a 338 lapua.
Some other options are :
If your barrels are 16" or longer then the YHM R9 is a good all around can.
If barrels are shorter then 16" then the Dead Air Wolfman.

While we are on the subject of choosing a suppressor, be mindful of the ratings on them. I have a hybrid 46M that I use on my 45 cal smokeless muzzleloaders, 40 cal sml's and anything else 46 cal or below for that matter. It has performed well.
Recently, a new hybrid 46 (not the magnum/automatic rated 46M)
came apart. The shooter and the gun (45 cal sml) were blown off the bench from the concussion. The suppressor can was still attached to the barrel but was completely gutted. It appears the standard hybrid 46 baffles are NOT welded to the can as the hybrid 46M IS. It's my understanding that the hybrid 36M is also welded. I imagine that one of the rear most baffles bent or came loose, blocking the path of escaping gasses. This acted as a plug, which forced the internals out the end cap.

I have a hybrid 46 I use on these same calibers! Works great! I have different end caps to cover the less than 30 cal stuff to get em a little quieter!
This is the best can you can shoot all of the calibers you have listed. They make an L version that will be a little quieter. Tennessee Silencer Shop here in East,TN stocks them. Capitol Armory can ship it to your front door if you go with them. S-Ti one is 9 OZ and less than 7". This can quieter than the Hybird .46 and Omega .36. They also make a front cap that is .243/6mm and a .30 cal. Can't go wrong

I have a banish 46v2, it is supposed to cover all those. I have only shot it through my 6.5 so far though.
If you put a .36 cal can on a .223, you might as well just not put one on there at all. This isn't what people want to hear, but it's true. Only buy dedicated, caliber specific cans, otherwise you're just adding weight and length for no reason whatsoever. I would start by buying a single suppressor for the rifle you plan to shoot most and see how you like it. The process is very simple these days using the Silencer Shop kiosk. My last suppressor was approved in less than 24hrs.
Also, most of time, whenever you install a suppressor you have to zero. Sometimes the shift isn't significant, but it can be. So if you're buying one suppressor for 5 or 6 rifles and constantly removing and reinstalling it, you're going to need to rezero pretty much every time.

I disagree with all of this. I run a 30 cal can on everything down to 223 and they're all hearing safe. A bigger cal can on smaller cal round may be less efficient, but it surely works to tone down the sound.
I run mine direct thread and I did have to re-zero for the can installed, but I move it around and haven't had to touch a dial since. A can for every gun would be nice, but I'm sure its unrealistic for most of us.

If I wanted an affordable can to cover all of those, it would be the SilencerCo Hybrid 46 DTM. I have a Rugged Obsidian 9 on my 350 Legend and would've went with something more versatile had it been available at the time.

How do you like the Obsidian 9 as far as just for 9mm? I'm considering one for my Springfield Kuna.
I don't own a 9mm. It was bought specifically for my 350 Legend. I had other models in mind but this was my only in stock option at the time of purchase. It does a good job with the 350 Legend though.

How so? Like I said, it's not a popular opinion, but it's true. Go read actual decibel reduction testing by someone like Pew Science or any other reputable suppressor testing organization or individual. There isn't anything I said that isn't absolutely true. Sure, you can put any can you want on any gun, bottom line is, if it's not caliber specific and dedicated, you're looking at a loss of performance and a real possibility of zero shift. People saying they're getting hearing safe on 5.56 with a .30+ cal can simply aren't being honest.

Both..Mostly subs for squirrels/varmints in 22lr, mostly supers for hogs in 350 Legend.
Does the suppressor make much of a difference with supersonics in the .350?
