Thinking about putting a suppressor on my rifle. Anybody have a strong suggestion for gunsmith/gunshop for getting the barrel threaded in the middle TN area? Thanks in advance.

I could be wrong I looked into one for my 22 for squirrels and I think at that time it was around a 6 or 7 month wait and a ton of paper work along with it. I was talking to the guys at teds in downtown Columbia, I'm sure they could point you in a great direction.

Not middle TN, but my local Form 4 shop has a gunsmith who threads barrels. Check with your local gun shops and see if they recommend a local smith. Turn around times for suppressors are 7-9 months for the few I have seen lately. Both individual and trust.

Check out Echo 3 Armory in Chapel Hill https://echo3armoryllc.com/. Rich is the gunsmith, machinist and owner. He's threaded several of my barrels. You might also want to take a look at this article on the Silencer Central Banish Backcountry. My good friend Brent Spicer just posted this review on https://shootingsavvy.com/the-banish-backcountry-suppressor-the-ultimate-hunting-companion/ I have had the Banish Backcountry and hunted with it since last fall. Great can!
The cool thing about Silencer Central is that you do all of the "paperwork" electronically and when your tax stamp comes in they mail it to your door.
