Anybody have one? I just got one and 500 rounds on trade. This thing is a beast to hold. I thought I might try it during deer season. It already has a scope on it.

My best friend has one. He has it scoped also. He has killed a ton of deer with his. Thats all he takes if he is morning hunting and his shots are <75yds. He carries his rifle too in the evening because the pistol scope is terrible for low light.

I have one. I really like it, like the idea of it. Thought it would be great to deer hunt with once in a while...then I shot it, and realized I'd do good to hit a very large dinner platter at 25 yards with open sights. I've never given it much of chance though, nor practiced much, and mine ain't scoped.

I shot it today at 100 yards and could def see killing a deer with it. Suprised me how much fun it was to shoot. Im fixing to order a trigger kit for it and see what that does.

I use to shoot a Redhawk, back in the mid 80's, in big bore pistol silhouette matches. I would usually average about 50% hits on the rams at 200yds. It takes some practice but a deer at 100yds. is very doable.

I have a black hawk 44 and am thinking of doing the same thing. 44 at 100 yds is more than eough for our deer. Should be good to 50 yds with my open sights.

I ordered a different grip and a trigger kit for it today from midway. Cant wait to get it alittle lighter on the pull. Ive never really been a pistol guy, mainly rifles but this thing is a blast to shoot. And yes deer killer its a beast to tote. My wife calls it " Our grandchild prevention tool" lol we got two girls not far off from dating and she thinks this one is more intimadating than other guns I have.

Been polishing the trigger components and all other components the last two nights. It sucks, I dont have the patience i used to have for this kind of stuff

Love mine. Got an older 2X Burris mounted on it. Mine likes the Hornady 240gr XTPs. I can get 1 1/2" groups at 100yds on a solid rest. Yes sounds crazy but this thing is a shooter! Shoots better than a few rifles I have and will flat out knock a deer on its butt! Definently get a good holster. If I'm woods hunting during the rifle season this is what I'm usually carrying.

One tip for ya...
I have noticed that a couple of the chambers will shoot slightly more accurate or group better together. I've marked them so I can use the same one for my first (and hopefully last) shot when I'm in the woods.

Quality glass but the small objective does not gather light very well late in the evenings. I usually just hunt with it in the a.m. The 2X is about right for a fixed power pistol scope IMO.
