They were out on my way out here. Had 4 does standing in the middle of the road about a half mile from my parking spot. They ran down the street in front of the truck for a 100 yards or so before they realized all the had to do was get off the road lol. Must say I kinda felt like Santa being led by those deer lol
 
That's how it always goes. I'm convinced they've learned what roads I use to get to my spots and love to hang out right by them since they know it gets my hopes up that they'll be moving good lol.
 
Have a good feeling about this spot though. Hopefully I'll have something walk through.

hunted on the TNWR Duck river remainder hunt this weekend. I only seen one small buck. I gave up and came on home. I hope its the weather and not the area cause I expected to see a lot more deer. First time at TNWR also.
 
Got something moving to my left but my guess is a squirrel. And keep occasionally hearing what sounds like another hunter walking in to my right but haven't seen anything. Apparently there are ghosts here lol. This is part of the trail of tears though so ghosts are a possibility lol.
 
Had 3 little bucks come in together at first light but that's it so far. Biggest was a little 6pt so they got a pass. Southern part of Davidson Co.

The "earn a buck" program has severely lowered the deer population on the TNWR.
