Bought mine las season and I LOVE it. Very comfortable and lightweight, and most importantly is does not slip. Very important to us older guys, we don't bounce anymore we break!!

First stand I bought was a API had it for about 4 years sold and bought a summit hunted out of it 4 times and I sold it and went back to API I hated the cables on the summit the chains on the API are easier to us and quiter imo
I love my viper. Very comfortable and light. I had an el cheapo Wally World aluminum climber that was stolen out of my storage unit that was lighter and more comfortable, but it was slower on the setup, didn't fit as wide of a range of trees, and they don't make 'em anymore. I really hope that the guy who stole it fell oout of it and broke his leg or arm.

I own two vipers and a titan outstanding stands.
Have owned Ole Man ,API,Tree Lounge,and Summit. Summit by far is best and most comfortable. Not trying to take any sell's away from members here,but I just picked up a Summit Viper limited which is aluminum model with footrest and sound deadening coating. Bought it off e-bay for 199 and free shipping from store in Ohio.
Do not like the cables on the summits. I prefer the chain on the API stands.

Love my viper but if your a bigger guy go with the goliath. I will never use another stand. Great for an all day sit to. Even safe to take a nap in if you happen to doze off.
