Does the Summit Surround Seat take away the need for the zippered arm rests? My seat and arm rests have been destroyed by a bear before I even got a chance to sit in the brand new stand. I won't order replacement arm rests if the Surround Seat takes away the need. Thanks!

Nope. I have it and actually prefer the regular because of how it packs up

thanks. More difficult to pack?

I definitely think so. If you leave your stand in the woods, it's not an issue really. It just doesn't fold up and easily. It's super comfy though!

I have that seat also and agree with what everyone has said about it. Bears have torn my stuff up also, they suck hard.

I have some extra padding for a summit stand and will give it to you if you pay shipping. It's 3 pieces and fits the summit viper classic. ..not sure how different the other models are. They are not zipper, they're velcro, but let me know if you want em. Here's a pic showing one with the backside.
