I've pretty much decided to have a Summit climber by next season. I really like the Gorilla I've been using but it gets a bit uncomfortable after a few hours. Anyone have experience with the Summit Blade? I want the fold flat option.

I bought one from Gator-n-Buck on here last year and really like it! I had a Viper vefore and it was great on the tree, but way too bulky carrying around. The Switchblade folds very flat, put a couple of cinch staps around it and it carries great!!

Only negative I have is the thubmscrews are held in by some pretty fragile retaining clips (lost 1 first time out). Not a safety issue, but if you don't realize you lost the retaining clip, the thumbscrew to bolt your stand together may be a mile behind where you decide to hunt :( Soldered some security wire around the thumbscrews and attached to the stand so they can't get away now!!

That issue with the retaining clips is apparently common based on reviews I've looked at.

i just bought one the last week of deer season, and man do i love it!!! i had a old man and boy was it heavy (35lbs). I bought this blade used but only used once, and it feels like nothings on my back when walkin thru the woods. Like what is mentioned before, the clips do and will eventually come out, but even with that, i wouldnt stray from buying this stand.
