I have attached a few photos of the corn and sunflowers that I planted. I am located in west central Florida. From the time that I planted the seeds I believe it has only rained three times. I have been moving an overhead sprinkler during the week. My corn last year was between six to seven feet tall. This year the average height is four feet. The ears of corn may or may not fill out. The Sunflowers are doing reasonably well despite the lack of rain. The deer have moved in on the Sunflowers and watermelon but have not done any real damage yet.

Hook, we are in a big time drought. We really need a hurricane to come close but not hit us and dump a lot of rain. Our water table for the last several years is very low. It probably take several hurricanes to get the water table back up and stop new residents from coming to Florida to live.
