Anybody having success with them? My plot will be mixed this year with rape and a few different bulbs (turnips, purple top beets). Gunna try some sugars this year. Think if I dedicate one part to them or mix in with the rest?

I have for the last two years with terrific success. First year, I mixed them in with turnips, 7 top and rape so it was hard to distinguish what was what. Since then, it's been straight sugar beets. Last year may have been different because they were the only green with the severe fall drought. They pounded them last year!! I mean more utilization than any other food plot that I've ever witnessed. I planted them last year and this year around the first of august and I think that is important from all my research. This year will be a test with all the available browse.

They are expensive. Like $60/acre a think

I planted last year with great results. Sugar beets and WI Winter greens were the only thing that I had grow through the drought and they were hammered.
