What do y'all think? Trying to put my plot recipe together and they were first to come to mind. Better than radishes? Some winter wheat, maybe winter peas, definitely rape. Am I missing anything?

Soil sample sent and due back in 8 days. Will adjust soil from it. Scalped grass from area tonight and will glyco tomorrow and then again in a week or so. Just bought a disk harrow and have no idea on using it except to drag it around until I get the soild ground up real good.

Small plot, 50x100 ft. Rounded up and will spray 1 more time. Bought a lb of rape @ Feed&Seed by me. Winter peas and sugar beets on order. Still debating oats or wheat. Just waiting on soil sample for adjustment.

If the deer go after your Winter Peas like they did mine, they won't make it. I have a 3 acre plot total and I put a strip of peas down the center that's maybe 35 feet side and 100 yards long and the deer ate them down to the dirt and killed them all. I've never had that problem with any other food plot in that same spot. I'm going to try them again this year though. :)
