Food Plots Subterranean Clover?

Anyone have experience with sub clover? I've planted plenty of clover - mostly white - but I'm not familiar with this type. I've got a small hillside area on the east side of my house. It gets morning sun but not much else. Probably not enough sun for white clover, but sub clover is supposed to be more shade tolerant. Thoughts?

I've used some in a mix but it went in an open area. I don't know that there's anything that will do really good in the shade.
