So I have several pictures of this guy ( he's new to our property) coming in to our food plot around 12 am. He is standing 10ft from our ladder stand on the plot. I have 90 acres to hunt and a lot of it is thick. How should I go about hunting this guy? Should I hunt this weekend or wait till muzzy? And for those who say let it go, it's not possible around here, it'll die from the neighboring properties spotlighting or baiting. Thanks. There are about 5 does that hang around our place. They usually come out to the food plot from some thick nasty brush right at dusk. ][/url]
 
He's not moving at daylight yet but you can monitor him and be ready when he does. With such a small property it would be easy to move him off with activity. Good luck!

Id wait till the rut starts picking up, when bucks are really starting to look for the first does in heat...that's a night pic and you want him horny and coming out during the day

No way I'm going to even attempt to hunt this deer until I'm confident he's moving around in daylight. Keep the camera rolling check it again in a week or two.
 
Hunt him only when wind is right but hunt him. You never know when he will be there during daylight.
 
Like I said I'm in almost the same situation and last year the only time I had daylight pics of mature bucks was the last few days of oct and the first few days of nov. My place is really thick and I hardly ever find any scrapes,beds, and only a few rubs. I think the deer just travel thru my place 2 or 3 days a week. I think the bucks last year that I had day pics of were just starting to search for the first does to come into heat.
 
I would stay out of there till M.L. and the rut. Not even to mess around with your camera.Once M.L. and the Rut starts his normal routine is going to change.

I couldn't agree more. He knows the buck is in the area he just needs to wait until that smart, mature buck moves around during daylight and that probably isn't happening much right now and probably won't happen until closer to the rut. Like you say maybe ML but it might be even a week or two later. Walking around scouting and moving cameras just increases the pressure and is probably going to screw it up. I hope I'm wrong but this has been my experiences on a 120 acre tract I hunt.
