Had about 10 minutes of daylight left and got a bloody arrow! Followed he blood into a thicket so 40 yards away. Saw where she crashed and laid down for a minute. It's so thick though that I qm going to have to try in the morning. Bright red frothy blood! Hopefully she is not too far and he coyote don't find her.

It was strange though. No blood for the first 20 yards or so. Then it was a bucketload. Then a good trail. Another bucket. I am interested to see exactly where I hit her.

man with that blood, I would be out there tonight with a flashlight. Good luck, hope for a quick recovery

Well. I have good and bad news. I found the deer. 200 yards away, belly up in the lake. It made a b line towards the water for some reason.

She is dead, and not far from there me thinks.
