Stuck nipple/breech

I have a knight with the old #11 cap style nipple that is stuck. I do have the tool but I did order one today, any suggestions?

May try to soak the threads with a penetrating oil like kroil.

Put the breech end of barrel in an ultrasonic cleaner and run it a few cycles, if you have access to one, I'f that won't free it up most likely it won't ever come out.

Will it fire? If it won't, you may be able to push a piece of wire through it to allow it to fire, and then fire it 3-4 times to heat it up. It may break free afterwards.

Penetrating oil is also your friend as some have said.

I've never had a nipple to get stuck really bad but, a couple of times I've seen breech plugs that might as well have been welded in.

I'd take the stock off and apply some heat, it should come out after a lil sweet talkin.

Once you get it out go ahead and order the 209 conversion kit if you plan on keeping it.
