I have those metal snap type stringers that cost about three dollars. Recently somehow a couple of fish have managed to get off, was unsnapped. Yesterday while floating the river I put 4 nice catfish in stringer, was nervous wreck they would escape! But they didn't. What is best stringer? Have any one of you had this problem?

I use a metal snap stringer for crappie and blue gill.
Everything else goes in the cooler. That is if I ever catch "anything else" :rotf:

Usually a cooler, just move the drinks away from the fish or you will smell fish when you open a can of soda or a bottle of water. Lol
