Went to some public land this morning to switch it up BC I ain't seen any deer on my lease or private land. Sat till 10 watching squirrels and chipmunks chase around. Looked up from cruising tndeer and here cone two does and a spike. Does fed within 5 yards and back to 14 where I let er fly and pulled my yugo. Clean miss. After that I watched the little spike demolish a little sappling. All in all a good morning in the woods!

You might have spoke to soon..LOL I thought the same thing yesterday morning when I saw 1 doe at 40yds..I thought great!! But I didn't see a deer yesterday eve or this morning.

ya I was bummed bout the miss but I just pulled the shot so no biggy. Ill get another shot sometime.
