This looks like an old gal to me but something looks slightly off. Is she sickly looking or perhaps she just birthed a fawn? This is in Williamson Co.

Severely underweight, but does not appear sick. Her coat is still slick.

A chronically sick deer on the way down and out will usually have unkempt hair from lack of grooming.

The question is why is she so underweight for this time of year... triplets pulling on her???

theres a possibility of that many of the does on this place have multiple fawns. there is tons of food as well so malnutrition shouldnt be a factor.
 
It's hard to tell from this pic, but it kind of looks like her bottom jaw/lip isn't lined up correctly. Maybe she has an injury and can't eat. Just a theory.

And everyone within striking distance. There is something wrong with that deer to be that skinny. Might be worthwhile to show a TWRA officer or biologist. I don't think it's CWD but I would have it checked out.
