I have a bunch of seed I need to store. one big bag of buckwheat, and a bunch of half acre bags of evolved habitat...pretty much everything they sell. whats the best way to keep this stuff to make sure it is good in the spring and next year?

I am replanting my plots for fall and winter next saturday I hope, and that will be it till the spring.

Gold and dry keeps it dormant - thats why the world just spent millions putting all those seeds in the ground in Norway for AFTER the nuclear war!

Depends on seed type too. I had a 1/4 bag of sorgum left from two seasons ago that I planted a few months ago. Because I had it stored in the bag in a hot storage barn I thought I'd get a minimal germination if any so I over seeded....the result was a near 100% germination much to my suprise!
