Well I picked my first 3 cucumbers yesterday and I was wondering how I'm suppose to store those until I get enough to fix up a batch of pickles.

From what I have seen they don't store very well anywhere. We keep them in the fridge drawers and if they are good full cucumbers they will keep for a few weeks.
If you pick them small and they are not fully filled out the start to shrivel up and dry out in just a few days. We just have got to where we plant 2 full rows of cucumbers so we can pick enough at 1 time to make pickles a few times a week and then can give quite a few away to friends.

Most people use Pickleing cucumbers. They will have a large crop ripen in a flush at the same time.
I put up pickles every day or so, that way I do not keep them for long stretches..... I do not do really large batches. At most i generally put up 5 quarts or so at a time and have put up as little as two quarts....
