Can you post up some pics of it so that I can see current condition?

What kind of time frame are you looking to have it back. I usually do a few each year but generally don't start them until January or so.

I wish I could have helped. I just have not been able to get to a matte finish with tung oil that I would consider acceptable. Everytime I have gotten to the right sheen, the finish was too milky for my liking.

There has to be a secret trick to doing it rub matte.


I think the trick is more patience and correct use of sandpaper/ steel wool. I use low sheen tung oil but it still comes out glossy.
