I am shooting 44 gr. 5744 a good little load. What is a good safe duplex load for my stock ml ii Thanks

2 ? . if it shoots good why would you duplex? duplexing is used to help ignition problems. are you wanting more speed or better accuracy?

Unless you want to switch to a slower burning powder (like H4198), duplexing 5744 is pointless.

I thought i would change powder and sabots to get a little more speed. Just wonting to try something different.

you need to know what speed your doing now. a duplex doesn't always mean more speed. more accurate or fires every time yes. I bought a crono so I could test loads with mine.im shooting 43g of n110 with a 250g SST.2320fps . 2600 and change with same powder and a 240g xtp. I would have thought the SST would have been faster based on the loading pressure but strange things happen .
