The season is getting close and I realized the other day that my tree stands are all in the shed with my lawnmowers, weedeater, gasoline cans, etc.

Whats the best way to get them cleaned up and scent free?

Leave them up year round..You won't have to worry about lugging them bad boys around the woods when its 85 degrees out and die of a heat stroke! LOL I left mine up,all I have to do to come Sept 1st is go and put my rachet straps back on them.I leave em chained to the tree but just remove the rachet strap. Its alot better carrying 3 rachet straps through the woods than 3 heavy ladder stands! LOL

I probably would have left my ladder stands out, but I found that someone was trying to cut off the bike lock I had on it - on private land. So, didnt want them to have a second chance at it.

Thanks for the answers, I was worried the 'shed' smell would be tougher to get out.
