Saw 4 bucks today still packin both sides. The bigger 2 were battling it out for over 15 minutes. No does in sight. Hocks on all were still black.
This was on the driving range in Hendersonville.
 
I saw one of my old college buddies this past Saturday night at Torinos in Springfield,TN. He said he saw two bucks the day before fighting in the middle of day. I called his bluff and said he was lying, but he said no man I'm serious. I guess they are just needing some exercise! Never heard of any sparring in Feb in TN.
 
I saw a fully racked 120+ buck while I was on patrol under the full moon last night. Was hanging out with about a dozen does.

Most serious buck fight I've ever witnessed was in Feb.
 
I checked my trail cam yesterday and I've got pics of multiple bucks still holding both sides and one bigger bodied buck that's shed both sides.

My buddy has a lease in West TN and checked his cams yesterday as well. Said every deer he had a pic of was shed.

In my area they always are packing in February, our start dropping this month. Our rut often last till mid February too but most don't believe us.

You all talking about bucks with horns still! I seen two on the way back from hohenwald two weeks ago with one side and haven't seen any horns since so I assumed all the deer I was seeing here In Maury county were some shed bucks as well as does, untillllllll this morning I saw five or six bucks all with both sides so wonder why?
 
My Grandson an I saw a nice buck this morning while I was taking him to school. He was in a run and didn't get a good look but it was a nice rack.
 
Found a good shed Wednesday afternoon. Checked the cameras and 7 of the 9 bucks on camera were still holding antlers. 1 had shed both sides and 1 had lost 1 side.
