Bought a wooded farm and home in April, set up stands and cameras in August, made frequent trips from current home in Ohio to tennessee to check on things and prep for first tenn seer season. Lots of bucks on camera. Hunted four days straight opening week of gun season with a friend. Saw nine does, but no bucks. Still happy with the area, can't wait to finally retire there this summer and get established. Had hoped rut would be in swing thanksgiving week, but it wasn't to be. Headed back for Christmas and New Years, but no hunting this time.
 
Anyone know what the deer are doing near allons, livingston? I'm headed back to tennessee for Christmas and New Years.
 
I would try to hunt the first few days if you could. With all this crazy weather this week, a little calm and cold will get them on their feet.
