Why yes somewhere down the line. On a serious note though we still have them around here with spots. I think our dough numbers are so high it takes the boys a long time to get to them all.Are you from the moon?
Even in the healthiest herds, some fawns are born late. It is usually due to female fawns sexually maturing as fawns being bred late in the season. I've seen herds in TN where 30% of female fawns breed. In Midwestern herds, as much as 80%.These fawns still have spot so when do you think their mom was bread? That would be a late rut right?
