Still a six

We saw this buck many times last year and as close as twenty feet. Apparently, he remains as a six this year. Any ideas as to age?

I'd kill it just cause u don't see a lot of 6 pts that big. That makes him a trophy in my book just being different and bigger then most 6 pts.

My best guess would be he's now 4 1/2.
And should he survive another year, would bet he'll still be a 6-pointer, but a massive 6-pointer.

Did any one particular hunter pass this buck multiple times last year?

No such thing as antler high grading.

Actually, I've heard there is no antler high grading in Polk County.
All with antlers are immediately killed there, thus eliminating any risk of antler high-grading.

I was one of four hunters to pass on this buck last year. At one point, I saw this buck everyday for nearly two weeks from the same stand. Late in November this buck showed up with a doe. I sat under a tree as he chased younger bucks away from the doe and closer to me. This buck passed within twenty feet of me while sitting on the ground under this tree.I was disappointed to see that he remained a six this year. Below are a few other pics, he's obviously not camera-shy.

X~2....would love to shoot him even though he is a six...i have one like that on our prop also.....i have this one on cam 2 years running....at least a 3.5.
2010 with a really good dandy that hasnt shown up this year yet.
