ok i just got me a stevens model 200 in 22-250 and had a guy tell me that the stevens brand wasnt a good gun at all an that i should get rid of it he also said the have a problam with the barrel melting cuz of the cal being too fast and hot is this guy right or just jelious its not like im gonna go out in my back yard an shoot 15 box's of shells threw it lol i cant afford enough shells thanks for any info
 
stevens 200 is cheap stock and trigger version of the savage 110,,super accurate ugly as heck rifle,,22-250 will heat a bl if you shoot real fast,,not any worse han anything else that holds 40 grs of powder

True but they,Stevens, will have the Accu-trigger on them this year according to the catalog I got.
