Steelhead in the Au sable river

Here is from my trip to the Ausable. Salmon are in thick but the steelhead are still doing good. I sure miss that river.

Au Sable? as in Michigan? I fish the Pere Marquette River a lot when the Salmon are thick. I used to live 30 min from the Pere Marquette!

yes,I grew up in Michigan, my dad retired and moved north, roscommon. I have fished the P.M. many times,My Grandfather lived on the P.M. outside of Ludington, Manistee is another favorite.
