Started my beard board

Well after reading and see the beard board thread from Gobblrgttr ..... I decided to start one myself.

I could not decide which way I liked the best ........ The complete shell or just the brass

Well this is what I have decided on for now. the board comes from a storage shack that is at one the lakes on chaney lake. I do have another beard to add as soon as I get the one in my storage unit out. I had my first bird mounted some 20 years ago ...however due to dog and kid ... the head is not exactly attached ....... so I have decided to add it to the board

you know if you heat the brass up a little with a small torch you can pull the whole plastic peice out.

looks good but I like the whole shell better myself....you don't have to pull the beard all the way up in the shell, you can let it start at the very bottom of the plastic...I guess I just like the color of the rem green and winny red!!

I did it both ways and really could not decide which I liked the best.

Although with these 2 I decided with just the brass I may mixed them up
