Stainless?

My 7mm A-bolt stalker was stolen. I'm going to try to replace it before season starts-I love the rifle and I love the caliber.

I found what I believe to be good deals on both. I've never had a stainless rifle. What are the benefits and cons?

I'm pretty hard on them-it's humid here and I like to hunt in the rain wherever I am. I've never been able to keep a blued barrel slick for long.

Well stainless will definately be more tolerant to the elements, but even a stainless gun will rust if not wiped down every so often.....But it will also be a little more expensive...but worth it based on your post description...

Make sure you keep the locking lugs greased. Stainless does not
mean rustless. Clean it as usual.
