Stainless or Blued?

I sent my stock off to be checkered and I hope to get it back in 3 to 5 months. I'm thinking this rifle would look better if it was blued instead of stainless. What do you think? I might be convinced into trading/selling the barreled action, bottom metal, magazine box, scope and rings for the same that is blued.

Just buy a Remington....just kiddin. If it shoots good just have it Cerakoted, have the scope done as well to match.

me personally I prefer a blued finish with a traditional wood stock and stainless with a laminated, camo or synthetic stock.

You already have a pretty blued gun, might as well have a pretty stainless gun.

I always have a stainless rifle or three in my gun safe. But all my stainless rifles also have synthetic stocks.
Hard to beat a stainless rifle and synthetic stock for those rainy days afield.
BTW my stainless synthetic rifles are just as accurate as my blued wood stock ones. In fact I do think my stainles/synthetic Rem 700 in 7MM Mag is the most accurate rifle I own.

on fine walnut like that, i prefer a deep rich high gloss blueing. of course i would prefer a black vx 3 on it to boot. but it is a beautiful rig either way. how many lpi are u gonna do?

My other stock he checkered for me is 22. I'm sure he will do 22 again. 24 is too fine IMO, but it shows grain better.
