I bought a T/C Seneca .36 a couple months ago and that's about what I'm going to use.

remington high velocity hp. the cz craves them and in thick woods, they are better at reducing post fall ground travel, which can cost you a squirrel if you didnt mark your kill tree well.

That little .36 ought to get her done. My little .40 has sent many critters to their maker with the load I stated...rabbits, squirrels and armadillo's are the main ones. Still have the first roundball I took out of the first dillo I ever shot with her. Thing was looking right at me...not moving so much as a hair to avoid detection. Put one right between the eyes on it. Got home to clean it and that's when I found the roundball...lodged in the base of the tail.

My rifle loves the thunderbolts, but I'm not much on a solid to hunt with.

Thunderbolts is the most accurate ammo I have shot out of my model 60 marlin. I try and only take head shots at squirrels so they work well for me. They don't do much on a body shot though.
