Tested 5 types of ammo today to determine which will be used for final sight in. shot at 52 yards @ 93 degrees and 90 percent humidity. didnt mike it out but i am pleased. bulk pack winchester high velocity hp is my choice. best groups came with superx solid pts (as always), but i dont use solids for squirrels. i will sight in next thursday at 40 yards for next weekends hunts, hopefully the humidity will be lower. this gun always shoots great but the fine crosshairs on the little leupold 2-8 sure makes aiming more precise. i dropped the trigger to below 2.5 lbs and it is a little light but i will get use to it before long . first group is 5 shots and the second group is 10.

Wow. Another CZ with an excellent pattern. Now I'm starting to think I should have saved more money and left the Savage Mark II on the rack. Good shooting.
 
just getting around to Ethans 452,,it seems a little more picky than the 513,,but after some reading I think I know what to do,,but it still shoots as good just wont shoot everything as well as the 513,,

I will post the group I shot with the superx solids. It is incredible. I just wish solids did a better job of anchoring squirrels

I'm with you on that, Redblood... have tried various kinds of fancy ammo in my Marlin 880SQ but plain old Remington in a brick seems to work best.
