lookin hard at this thing,,I kinda like the Houge stock and the 20 inch heavy bbl should drive nails,,coupled with a 3.5-10 MarkIV,

should make an ideal compliment to the M4 with the Eotech,,ya think??

I have a PSS in .308 with a Hogue stock and love it! You can't go wrong with the SPS.

i have a m7 20 inch in 308 and its sweet,,the tactical would be a notch above,

imagine,,foxholed in with that and 500 rounds and the m4 with 25 30 round mags loaded,,and about 10 buddies

I got the SPS Tactical last year in .223 Winchester and was so pleased with it that I bought another in .308 Winchester. The second was even better than the first. All you'll need to do is clean out the barrel channel right at the end of the stock just a little to give a little better free float and lighten the trigger spring tension and you'll have a good half MOA rifle. I really like the short barrels' handling even though they do give up a little velocity. I took the 308 to the range before hunting season last October and decided to try some old Hornady 165 Light Mags that I'd had laying around for years just in case I decided to use it during the deer season. It produced a .61 five shot group at 200 yards. You can't ask for any more out of a factory rifle can you? You'll like it.
