Springfield M1A/M14.......Any Good??

Does anyone have a Springfield M1A?

How accurate is this rifle?

Maintenance issues?

Looking for any advise on the weapon. Not exactly cheap and would like to get some first hand experience before dropping this much cash for a rifle.

a properly bedded M1A with a good barrel will shoot as good as most bolt rifles,,but they are not cheap to fool around with..I have shot a couple Loaded and a National Match that were all MOA pretty easy,,I have a SOCOM 16 and have shot the Scout rifle and they are more like 2.5 MOA CQB rifles

the only issues I have encountered was with cheap mags,,

I had one,I didn't care for it...Very expensive to shoot when it comes to an AR..I felt guilty when I shot it..
