Spring time allergies?

How many of you like me have SEVERE allergies and what helps you deal with them? Every spring I have to fight these attacks. It makes it difficult at times to hunt with my severe machine gun sneezing. I didn't get to go yesterday and today at work has been miserable trying to wait on customers. I would rather hunt turkeys in the spring as anything but I sure hate spring time.

They say eating local honey helps. Mine haven't hit me yet.

I do a double dose of Zyrtec. But I get the off brand.

Benadryl at bedtime works best for me.Ive tried everything.

Guys do yourself a favor and go get allergy shots! Its been a lifesaver for me. I use to hunker in fear of this time of year but now it bothers me none.

I use the Zyrtec and Benadryl some it helps but the shots may be the ticket thanks!

I took a ton of shots as a kid. It helped me out tremendously. If I can catch it early a double dose usually knocks it out. Claritin and Allegra never really done much.

Take a Claritin every day religiously, and get your doc to give you some Nasonex or Flonase.

Your right about the claritin and Allegra they never helped me. Zyrtec is a lifesaver.

You will never convince me benadryl is not a date rape drug I take one walk to the couch and I'm out for 12 hours

I take Zyrtec, eat local honey, and shower every night to wash any pollen or allergens that are stuck to me off. Sometimes I swap out and take Allegra for a while instead of Zyrtec. My system works for me. I got it pretty bad without doing this stuff.

Raw goat milk has worked wonders for me. Honey is a lot easier to get though.

Wow I can eat Benadryl. I have taken it all. They just switched me to. Xyzal. It has helped with the snot but I still have the scratchy throat and short of breath but we are gaining. Trial and error. The best thing I have taken for it is the good cough syrup. It really helps but u can't take it a lot or they think ur a crack head. Lol
