Spring/summer plots?

What do yall recomend planting? Going to try to turn my plots this weekend if the dang rain will hold off.

Another option that ive seen discussed on here and seen deer utilize in the field is to just till the land to disturb the seed bank, fertilize and let mother nature provide you with poke salad, ragweed and other vital natural browse.

I agree,if your not surrounded by grasses
 
Turkey will eat the seed when the buckwheat matures,.. but its to early to plant buckwheat,.. plant only after the threat of frost.In those size plots i'm with everyone else,.. go with clover. Both deer and turkey love clover,.. so its a perfect planting in those plots.I hate to recommend something i have not tried and tested,.. but you might want to try tecomate bucks and bosses. Again,.. i have not planted it,.. but have used tecomate chicory,.. and its a great product. If i don't change my mind,.. i should be able to show some results from the B@B mix soon,.. i may disc up my bootom plot and plant this mix.
