Spring Legion Gaiters?

anyone own a pair of their gen2 gaiters? I may order a pair to try out, love the weight of them, but not sure on size. M/L says up to size 11 shoe and XL is for 12-15. My issue is always I wear a size 12 shoe BUT I have pretty skinny legs and calves. Some fit my shoe but are huge on my legs or some are the right size on my legs but small for my shoe. Qurious if some here happens to own a pair to give some feedback on size.

I don't have their version but I'm in the same boat as you. I ordered a large in kennetrek and ended up returning and ordering a medium due to skinny legs.

I did look at the gaiters at nwtf and they looked pretty nice. Also have a buddy that has a pair and he loves them. He's a size 13 and a big boy so definitely needed the large. If you end up getting them let me know what you think.

I also enjoy listening to their podcast every week.

yeah Kennetrek are weird. I ordered a large as well and they were HUGE on my legs haha so I just sent them back. First lite's fit me really well and I love their Bramblers but they are 2x the weight of Spring Legion ones and they can get pretty hot on warm days.

I called and left them a message but Im aware its full swing hunting in MS so I dont expect a speedy reply. I may just order by shoe size and if it doesnt fit just return them.

some due, the Spring Legion specifically say they do NOT. Some of the other more robust ones like T and K ones are rated for snakes but they are also a lot heavier and hotter to wear.

I dont deal with snakes in the places I hunt so I never really worry about it personally.

I typically wear lacross rubber snake boots. I do have to deal with cottonmouths and copperheads.

Try turtle skins. On the pricey side but lightweight and snake proof. I wear them when wearing hiking boots. You can get them from Amazon.
