Same as gravey, haven't been out yet but have been seeing them more by my house which is nice.

As if it wasn't a big enough feat for a longbeard to drive down the road he had to look for style points by strutting at the same time? Had to be a specially equipped vehicle! :rotf: :rotf:

Sorry Gravey. I couldn't resist! :poke:

I almost ran over one coming home from work today. Was a group of I think 4 longbeards. I saw him slowly walking up to the road and then of course he cut in front of me at the last second. I wanted some turkey breast and some bones to make calls, but I felt bad and hit the brakes. Will probably see those birds strutting for the next couple months.

I have not had a chance to go out and listen yet. I hope i get the chance in the next couple of weeks. Tis the season!

i got one to gobble by my house yesterday. I ordered some of the Halloran TKO calls after you guys said you all liked them, they came in the mail yesterday. Around 5:30ish I was standing in my basement garage and decided to give them a go. Went out and cut a few times and had him gobble twice. Me and my wife have watched a bachelor group of around 9 toms all winter in our back field. This week we noticed that the most we have seen is 5 so they are starting to separate, guessing that is why this tom was hanging around by my house so close.

24 days!

Bunch of hens in Franklin today in a field that always start heating up in the spring. 1st time I have seen them this year.

They have been gobbling before flydown some. I have been seeing some gobblers with the big flocks of hens also but I don't get to exited till they start splitting up in a few weeks.

heard 2 gobble a few times this am. only gobbled at my owl calling and a cow once, none on their own.
