spraying round up ready corn question

I was told that Monsano will not pay for corn that is killed after spraying if a generic glysophate is used in lieu of Round Up. I'm not that concerned about having Monsano replace my corn if something happens but just wanted to verify that you can use a generic glysophate on round up ready corn. I'm spraying tomorrow and just wanted to be sure.

yes you can, I know many that have done so in the past, Monsano Roundup is the cheapest in my area if you purchase in bulk, $10.50 +/- per gallon
