Picked up a 20 gallon sprayer (1 gpm) and a boomless nozzle for my side-by-side which covers about a 10' wide path.

Now, there are four plots in varying sizes, the biggest being probably 80 yds x 60 yds.

A) How much gly do I mix with approx 20 gal water?

B) Will one tank be enough for my 4 plots?

Many thanks to those who take the time to answer.

Depends on how strong you want your solution. I ll mix approximately 50oz of gly for 15 gallons of water and spray that over an acre. Looks like you plots are about an acre in size so you would probably get by with 60 gallons of water and approx. 200oz of gly to do all 4 plots. I would take into consideration what is currently on the plots, if they are overgrown you may need more. I believe you could go up to a 4% solution.

32 oz per acre of gly. You need to calibrate your sprayer to know how many gallons per acre. I can spray 2 acres with my 25 gal sprayer

I usually do 2.5oz of 41% Gly per gallon and spray until I think everything is well covered. If I need more I mix more. If I have extra, well, there are so many things that need spraying that having extra in the field was always welcome. I would go overboard in my estimation of the mix needed in hopes of having extra. I also mixed an equal amount of cheap dish soap in the mixture. They say it helps. It never seem to hurt. Trying to aim at getting "x" amount of spray on "Y" amount of land had me constantly second guessing myself as I sprayed. Is it to heavy?, to light?, slow down?,speed up? I said the heck with it and just sprayed until I was happy everything was wet (not dripping) with weed death liquid..LOL

I should have mentioned that getting water for multiple tank fulls will be a slight challenge.

We have a pond on the property and I may try to pump water from it, or I can carry 5 gallon buckets from our cabin shower. We don't have an outside spigot. I will fill the first tank before I leave the house.
