Food Plots spray,throw,mow?

I'll be doing this method again this year. I was wandering how low does everyone mow the dead grass?

Personally, I used to mow it as tight to the ground as I could get it.

This was my first year trying this method in the spring with buckwheat but I didn't mow very low and it was a success. I'd mow lower but I've got huge rocks everywhere that I don't want to hit with the bush hog. I did make sure to kill everything back really well with Gly.
