Spooked by new blind?

Bucks are gathering in the pocket of a field. No trees downwind that can support a climber.
I moved my popup blind into the woodline, in thick brush.
3 bucks came into the field at 30yds and immediately keyed in on the blind. (I was peeking from a hole on the side, so know they didn't see me.)
How long will it take for them to become used to this new position?
 
brush it, like they said....like anything else tho, once it's been there a while, it'll just be part of the landscape to them. i think? or am i wrong
 
They'll get used to it, I like to get em up well before season 4 weeks or so... But put it up now and they'll be used to it come nov. I may not would hunt it until I think they are comfortable with it. It's one thing for them to see somethin out of place, but it's a whole other thing when it looks and smells like it shouldn't be there. I'd be afraid the mature deer would shift where they enter field...

Deer notice just about ANYTHING different in their environment. Wouldn't you notice a new table or chair suddenly appearing in your living room?

No set time on how long it will take deer to get used to it, but certainly it will have to be encountered several times and NOT be a threat before they ignore it.

My Dad used to tell me the same thing BSK. Said that the woods are the deers home, and just like our home, they will notice some of the most minute changes in their environment. :) Of course I didn't listen to him back then, I knew it all anyway. ;)
 
They do not like the black holes in a blind from the windows. You need to cover the windows wtih shoot through mesh. Even if you brush the blind in good they will notice the holes. I have setup blinds mid-day, hunted that evening and shot deer at 20 yards. Brush it in and cover the openings. You will need to shoot fixed blade heads through the mesh.
 
I put mine out about 2 1/2 weeks before season opened and thru corn all around it! They were standing 10 ft away from it in 3 days. they don't even pay it any attention anymore!!

My wife likes that about me. It gives her more freedom to do stuff. For instance, she changed all the curtains in the livingroom one time. About a year later I noticed it. I'm serious. :) I don't see such stuff.

Now if you stir MY stuff up, I notice the slightest details.

This was kind of a last minute move. (My blind had already been up at another location for the past month.)
Right after I posted the original message, a mature doe came out and walked right past the front of the blind at 19yds. Never gave it a second look.
I can't get back to the farm until Mon/Tue, so will just have to chance leaving it up for now.
But, good thing is I now know another route they are using to get into this area. With plenty of climber trees.
