I got me a new B&C stock for my SPS Tactical and decided to try my hand at camouflaging the old Hogue stock. Three cans of Krylon Camouflage and about an hour later and this is what I come up with.

I think if you was to do everything in camo it would just about disappear in the woods. Not to bad for a first try and with a little lacquer thinner you can take it off and try again. SpiderSpit seemed like a good name for it.

Well it's a closely guarded secret but here goes. I used khaki, olive green, and dark brown Krylon Camo paint and a course paint sponge from the Walmart.
Start by spraying alternating wide bands of the khaki and olive green for your base coat. After this dries use a sponge to apply green over the khaki area and khaki over the green areas. Let dry and then apply dark brown with a sponge here and there over the entire stock.
That pretty much does it and I don't believe you can really mess up since I was happy after my first attempt. But if you do, well just wipe with some lacquer thinner and try again. Hope this helps.

I think if you scuff it up a bit to make the Krylon adhere better it would work. I dont think I would mess up a good looking laminated stock though.

I agree...laminate and stainless is my favorite combo. (Unless it's a really fancy natural wood.)

Yours looks a little better than mine. I was afraid to do the whole gun. Mine is back to black now, getting ready to try something different.
