I got to working on this as soon as I read Ruger's post. This is a hand relief carved walking stick. The grip is cut extra for any size person and though it doesn't look even was cut for comfort. There is a deer carving, a power T, a Trout, a duck, and the best of all (which I probably will never do again because it was tough) our tndeer logo. The stick has a leather wrist strap on it as well. I will start the auction off for this and continue it until Friday at 1pm. I have so many orders for my sticks now but I felt the need to put them aside and help this cause and I worked almost non stop for 2 days to complete this, but with the detail it looks as if I worked for a week. The bidder will pay Ruger's PayPal account to help the member. I know someone is needing a great looking walking stick for evening strolls or scouting the woods and we all know carved sticks aren't cheap. Hope it finds a good home.

any idea what type of wood?

also the length?

4ft 4inches is the total length. To be honest I have almost 75 sticks drying right now and I can't tell you what 95% of them are. I can tell what big trees are in the woods but usually when I'm cutting for sticks I don't look. It is a very strong piece of wood. Strong enough to hit a dog that may be bitting at you on a walk and it wouldn't break.

Sure are Larry. It's a bit nicer than just a stick tho. Lol. Send the money to Ruger's PayPal account then message me your mailing address.
