Sparring/Fighting Question

Seeing the sparring thread in the trailcam section and hearing about the spike poking the 8pt, it seems there would be a lot of blind deer running around from serious eye injuries. Anyone ever seen this?

I don't think a deer could make it too long after being blinded from having his eyes poked out. Unfortunately, they dont make walking canes for deer.

Nah, they do it all the time. Not really fighting, just messing around. Seldom an injury.

Sparring is more a social thing than an anger thing. Sparring rarely leads to injuries. Now all out fights? Yes, bucks literally kill each other during those. But luckily, those are fairly rare.
