Anyone hunt around them, or know much about them? I have several I was going to plant on the farm. I see that they are very susceptible to cedar rust.

Used to hunt around several in Scott County, they were always a slam dunk, course most any apple during hunting season is. Most of the wild trees here are dead or dying now. The are very susceptible to a number of diseases.

Thats why i hate to plant them. But they were free and Iam sure it will be better than what is there now... nothing....

How big are the apples on them?

Anywhere from 0.5 to 1.5 inches. There are lots of variations in color and size depending upon the source. The wild trees here average alittle over an inch and are yellow green. There are also some reds.
