We caught 17 of these big boys Friday afternoon(farm pond). They are plenty big enough to filet most about 2 pounds (10-12 inches long) the biggest almost 2.75 pounds. Tons of fun on light spinning tackle.

Uh...this is another AL bluegill and it is nowhere near two pounds. Might go 1.75 maybe.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking BW. In my mind, a 2.75 lb bream is a once-in-a-lifetime fish. If you caught one that big, you should consider getting a replica mount!

We all know the camera tricks of holding them way out in front of you. I am sure if I held my fish out in front of me It would look a lot bigger too.

Here is another one from the same pond...it was one of the first "big" fish we caught out of the pond about 5 years ago. It was just under 2 pounds. For comparison those are standard 6 inch deck boards.
The pond is stocked with the hybrid Georgia Giant Bluegill.

...hmmm after researching this it looks like my fish would qualify for Alabama's record book if they accept hybrids, and I don't see any limitation in the rulebook. Any bluegill over 1pound/10-inches qualifies for "Master Angler" and any bluegill over 2pounds/13 inches qualifies for "Trophy Angler".
