Well I wonder if I planted early but regardless I planted too
little. Pic #1 is the way a sorgum head is supposed to look like.
Pic #2 is what 98% of my field looks like. They have pounded this plot!

Yes... That is eaten up!! You need more acreage and more milo. It can sprout out the side sometimes late in the season but I would say your milo patch is done!

I didn't plant milo...it's all sorgum.

As far as seeding...yes I over seeded but on purpose. The seed was left over from two seasons ago and I atticipated I'd only get about a 15-20% germination rate....I was wrong.

"Milo" is one form of grain sorghum.
