Glad you posted a pic as it will give me an idea about an acre My son and I planted in west tn on May 23.
It got a good rain on May 26. I should have good growth as well. Hope to go check it in 2-3 weeks.
I really like the stuff. It makes a really good edge around a field for other fall crops or is great for a stand alone. It grows well in weeds too. Good for "all" wildlife.

I see one red clover in there I believe.
 
Dalton. I forget what I paid for it. This is some seed I had left over from last year. Sorgum is not expensive though. It is heavily utilized in the fall by deer and other wildlife. When the plant matures it produces seed heads at the top of the plant that the animlas hit. I planted it for the first time last year and the deer hammered it.
